Ancient Roots

A return to the pure wisdom of Siddha and Ayurveda

5 Benefits of Drinking Nannari Sarbath in Summer

Beat the heat with this ancient Ayurvedic coolant.

  1. Natural Body Coolant: Nannari (Sarasaparilla) roots have excellent cooling properties. Drinking the sarbath helps bring down your core body temperature, protecting you from intense summer heat and preventing sunstrokes.
  2. Excellent Blood Purifier: It acts as a potent natural detoxifier. It purifies the blood and helps flush out toxins from the body, which can also lead to clearer, healthier skin during the sweaty months.
  3. Aids Digestion: Summer heat can often slow down digestion. Nannari Sarbath soothes the stomach lining, prevents acid reflux, and treats mild digestive issues like constipation.
  4. Prevents Dehydration: When mixed with chilled water and a squeeze of fresh lemon, it rapidly replenishes lost fluids and electrolytes from excessive sweating, keeping your energy levels up.
  5. Relieves Urinary Infections: Dehydration in summer can lead to painful urination or mild urinary tract infections. Nannari acts as a natural diuretic, increasing urine flow and soothing the urinary tract.

How to Use Nalangu Maavu for a Bridal Glow

The traditional South Indian secret to radiant, flawless skin.

1. Choose the Right Mixer for Your Skin Type

2. Prepare & Apply

Take 2 to 3 tablespoons of the Nalangu Maavu powder in a bowl. Add your chosen mixer until it forms a smooth paste. Before showering, apply the paste evenly over your face, neck, and body in gentle, upward circular motions. This acts as a gentle, natural exfoliant.

3. Rest & Rinse

Leave the paste on for about 10 to 15 minutes until it semi-dries. Wet your hands, gently scrub in circular motions, and rinse off completely with lukewarm water. Avoid using harsh chemical soaps immediately after.

Pro Bridal Tip: Start using this routine 2 to 3 times a week at least three months before your wedding. Always do a quick patch test on your inner arm first!
